Dubai International Airport

My research representative attended EXPO 2020 Dubai UAE (United Arab Emirates) in March 2022. In order to attend the event, there were some good changes.

First of all, as of February 26th, 2022, the UAE’s government made a new decision against travelers. If they are fully vaccinated, they do not need to prepare negative certificate of COVID-19 before departure. This change is really big and can incentivize more tourists to go to UAE. In fact, it is unpredictable for visitors, if they need negative certificate.

What’s more, if travelers reserve their ticket by Emirates, they will be able to receive a season ticket for EXPO 2020. At first, it had been a single day pass, but was changed. This change also can give new motivation for tourists to go to UAE. This is because the exhibition space of EXPO 2020 is really big. As a result, it seems impossible for visitors to drop by all places in EXPO 2020 that they want to visit in a day.

Emirates is the largest airline and one of two flag carriers of the United Arab Emirates. Based in Garhoud, Dubai, the airline is a subsidiary of The Emirates Group, which is owned by the government of Dubai’s Investment Corporation of Dubai. It is also the largest airline in the Middle East. In fact, the company was operating over 3,600 flights per week from its hub at Terminal 3 of Dubai International Airport before the pandemic. What’s more, Emirates operates to more than 150 cities in 80 countries across 6 continents through its fleet of nearly 300 aircraft

Thus, there are many advertisements for EXPO 2020 inside of Emirates’ aircraft and at Dubai International Airport.
