Also, the Chinese market itself was shrunk in the same period. Total sales of smartphone were 67.2 million units and this number was decreased by 14.7% compared to 2021.

Its competitors were struggling. For example, Vivo sold 12.9 million units and this number was 30.8% decrease compared to the same quarter of 2021. OPPO sold 11.5 million units and this number was 30.7% decrease compared to the same quarter of 2021. Xiaomi sold 10.5 million units and this number was 22.1% decrease compared to the same quarter of 2021.
