All-time record sales & profit

According to its Investor Relations, Alphabet, Google’s parent company, realized all-time record sales and profit in the Q4 of 2021. Sundar Pichai, CEO of Alphabet and Google, stated in the following.

“Our deep investment in AI technologies continues to drive extraordinary and helpful experiences for people and businesses. Q4 saw ongoing strong growth in our advertising business, which helped millions of businesses thrive and find new customers. In addition, a quarterly sales record for our Pixel phones despite supply constraints, and our Cloud business continue growing strongly.”

What’s more, Ruth Porat, CFO of Alphabet and Google, told as follows.

“Our fourth quarter revenues of $75 billion reflected broad-based strength in advertiser spend and strong consumer online activity. Furthermore, substantial ongoing revenue growth from Google Cloud contributed to this all-time result. Our investments have helped us drive this growth by delivering the services that people, our partners and businesses need. Therefore, we continue to invest in long-term opportunities.”
