In March 2023, an UN new report on climate change is shared. There are several important points in the report. First of all, it is not doubt that human activities have led to the increase of global warming. Therefore, we have to change our actions to avert climate disaster. In fact, the world has already warmed by 1.1C compared to pre industrial age.
Secondly, we have not taken enough actions against this problem. This is because it is likely to breach 1.5C in the 2030s, if it is going. That is why we need to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 60% in 2035 compared to the amount in 2019.
Thirdly, developed countries have supported developing countries less since 2018. Thus, it is time for them to think of their responsibility against climate change. We think that developed countries must take actions for them as well as rest of the world.
