Our research representative attended JEC World 2023, which was held in Paris France from April 25th to 27th. He also attended the same event in 2022. We report insights about it in other articles. In this article, we will discuss about marketing. There are several expressions or definitions of marketing. One of them is that marketing is the process of exploring, creating, and delivering value to meet the needs of a target market in terms of goods and services.

In this sense, it is important to understand the needs of each market. This is because the needs are different from region to region, from person to person and etc. In addition, it is also important for companies to understand the difference between B2B and B2C business.

For example, iPhone, which is one of the most famous products in the world, is sold for both companies and individuals. In fact, the number of iPhone’s sales is more than 200 million units in 2022. Of course, this number is already huge, but to sell iPhone to a consumer is different from to sell it to a company. Let us assume that we try to sell iPhone to a company that has more than 100 thousand employees. It means that we can sell 100 thousand iPhone at the same time, if the company makes a decision.

Therefore, even though a company that sells its products to a consumer (doing B2C business), it should consider B2B business as well.
