Several media reported that Nissan will start employee reskilling in its US factory. At first, 2000 employees in its Missouri’s factor will learn how to manufacture Electric Vehicles (EVs). There are several production processes to use high voltage to manufacture EVs such as batteries and motors. Also, each state has different regulations of how to use high voltage. Therefore, each employee must know the local regulations and follow them as an organization.
Of course, reskilling is one of the buzzwords for business in 2022. Therefore, Nissan’s initiative is not new for us. However, we will be able to learn three things from it: Individual, Organization and Leadership.
