Our research representative attended Central Florida International Auto Show in Orlando, Florida in December 2022. He also attended North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Michigan in September 2022.
There are the five most prestigious auto shows in the world, which are sometimes called the “Big Five”. They are generally considered to be held in Frankfurt (now in Munich), Geneva, Detroit, Paris and Tokyo. Therefore, North American International Auto Show is one of the most prestigious auto shows all over the world. However, our research correspondent could not feel big differences between the event in Detroit and in Orlando.
For example, almost same companies presented their products in both events. They are General Motors, Ford, Stellantis, Toyota, Subaru and others. Also, layout of both events is similar.
One thing that made him feel a big difference between two events was sunroof. Both events presented many different vehicles in each company. However, many cars in Central Florida International Auto Show were equipped with a sunroof. This difference implies the importance of locality again.
